Perbelle, the company behind the product CC cream, claims it is a multifunctional, all-in-one color-correcting, moisturizing makeup base and foundation.

On its website, the brand claims its CC cream’s unique formula has the following features:

  • Skin adjusting tone
  • SPF 43
  • Suitable for all skin types
  • Anti-aging
  • Evens complexion
  • Conceals pigmentation
  • Intense moisture
  • Adjusts to skin tone

In this article, I will answer the company’s claims by analyzing the ingredients against current scholarly research and offer my evidence-backed thoughts on whether you should invest in Perbelle CC Cream.

I’ll also highlight Trustpilot and real user reviews so you can make informed decisions about using this product.

Finally, I want to warn you about attempting to purchase Perbelle CC Cream on Amazon due to questionable “copycat” products being available on the shopping platform.

Let’s get into the ingredients next…

Ingredient Analysis of Perbelle CC Cream

You should be aware that titanium dioxide, at a concentration of 12%, is the only active ingredient in Perbelle CC Cream.

The rest of the cream is made up of the following inactive ingredients:

Although the above ingredients are inactive, several have clinical evidence supporting their positive and negative effect on human skin.

Let’s review…

Hydrogenated lecithin (Questionable)

Hydrogenated lecithin and lecithin are commonly used in many cosmetic products as skin-conditioning ingredients.

Both lecithin and hydrogenated lecithin are generally non-irritating and non-sensitizing to most people.

Both ingredients can be safely used in leave-on products at up to 15% concentration.

However, some people may be allergic to these ingredients, so consider carefully before using this product if you are allergic to these ingredients.

A strong word of caution – if Perbelle CC cream is combined with products containing N-nitroso compounds, the formation of carcinogenic nitrosamine compounds can result.

Some of you who have heard of nitrosamines may heave a sigh of relief because the intentional inclusion of these compounds in cosmetics is banned…so you think you are safe, right?

Well, not so fast…the problem is that existing ingredients in the product can break down into nitrosamines…in the case of Perbelle CC cream, a harmful ingredient already exists – triethanolamine, discussed below!

Triethanolamine (TEA) (Questionable)

Triethanolamine is a common pH-balancing ingredient used in many cosmetic products.

In this 2013 article, the Cosmetic Ingredient Review Expert Panel assessed the safety of TEA and concluded that it is relatively safe.

However, the panel warned not to combine this ingredient with other products containing N-nitroso compounds.

As is the case with hydrogenated lecithin above, carcinogenic effects may result when combining these ingredients.

That’s two ingredients in Perbelle CC Cream that may be toxic when combined with other N-nitroso-containing products!

Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate (EHMC) (Questionable)

Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate is a chemical sunscreen used commonly in cosmetics.

It works by absorbing ultraviolet radiation from the Sun.

There is a lack of consensus in the scientific community about EHMC’s safety in humans due to a paucity of solid research.

Some animal and lab studies have shown that EHMC may be toxic if the concentration is high enough.

The problem I have with Perbelle CC cream is that the ingredient label does not specify the concentration of any of the inactive ingredients.

The other concern I have with EHMC is that it has been proven to harm marine life and ecosystems.

EHMC can be found in almost all water bodies worldwide!

Hyaluronic acid (Positive)

Hyaluronic acid has much research to back its use in cosmetic products.

It increases skin hydration and visibly reduces wrinkles.

It is one of the ingredients in Vibriance Super C Serum.

However, I do not recommend that product either.

You can learn more about why in my detailed review here.

Niacinamide (Positive)

According to this review article, Niacinamide has anti-itch, antimicrobial, UV-ray protectant, skin-lightening, oil-inhibiting, and vasoactive (enhancing blood circulation) properties.

Perbelle CC Cream has received positive feedback from users with various skin tones, as it is said to adjust to different shades seamlessly.

Additionally, users have noted that this cream helps to even out skin tone and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, giving the skin a more youthful and radiant look.

However, it is important to note that individual experiences may vary, and some users may experience skin reactions to the product.

It is always recommended to perform a patch test before incorporating any new skin care product into your routine.

Overall, while there are some skin-enhancing ingredients in Perbelle CC cream, the balance seems to favor the questionable ingredients more, as I have reviewed above.

For these reasons, I DO NOT recommend Perbelle CC Cream.

When considering a Perbelle CC Cream review, it is essential to look at customer experiences.

Real users’ feedback can provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of the cream and its suitability for different skin types.

Can you buy Perbelle CC Cream from Amazon?

Unfortunately, purchasing Perbelle CC Cream from Amazon may not be the best option due to the presence of similarly named products and the risk of counterfeit versions.

When searching for “Perbelle CC Cream,” similar-sounding products are shown, such as “Pervelle CC Cream” and “Perebella Skin Tone CC Cream.”

At the time of this writing, I did find one item that actually identifies itself as “Perbelle Cc Cream,” but on closer inspection, I could discern that it is a counterfeit product quickly!

As we know, it is important to exercise caution when buying cosmetics online, as counterfeit products can harm your skin and overall health.

To ensure the authenticity and quality of Perbelle CC Cream, it is recommended to purchase directly from the official manufacturer’s website.

Remember to be critical of marketing claims and seek evidence-based information before purchasing.

Questionable claims on the official website

Regarding the Perbelle CC Cream, the website makes bold statements about its ability to even out your skin tone and provide multiple skin benefits.

However, it is important to approach these claims with caution.

While the cream may offer some benefits, such as skin hydration and potential anti-aging effects due to ingredients like hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, the specific claims made by Perbelle need to be backed up by scientific evidence.

Without this evidence, it is difficult to determine the true effectiveness of the product.

It is always advisable to be critical of marketing claims and seek out evidence-based information before making a purchase.

As you can see from my reviews, I will not recommend products I won’t use on myself or have my partner try out.

With that said, here are my recommendations:

My strong recommendation is Annie Mak Vitamin C serum.

The product is clean, and I love the fact that the brand provides an instantly viewable third-party certificate of analysis for each product right there on the product page.

Annie Mak’s Reverse Anti-Aging Serum has also earned highly positive reviews.

Oral Collagen

For improving skin hydration and elasticity, oral intake of collagen is superior.

I am particularly proud and privileged to be working with an absolutely amazing company – BUBS Naturals.

This company was founded to honor the memory and legacy of a National Hero – Former Navy Seal Glen “Bub” Doherty, who was killed in action while defending his brothers in Benghazi, Libya, on September 12, 2012.

You can read more about Bub on the CIA website.

Bubs Collagen Protein has earned my highest recommendation because it only contains protein and no other additives or artificial sweeteners.

If you use my discount code GA20 at checkout, you will get a 20% discount!

At the time of this writing, Bubs protein powder costs $39.95 and provides 28 servings per container.

With your 20% discount, the per-serving price is $1.14!

If you are interested, please check out Bubs products at this link on their official website.

Transparent Labs is another company I trust and recommend for all your dietary supplement needs.

True to the company’s name, all reporting of product formulas, dosing, and 3rd party lab testing is completely transparent and listed on its official website!

Their products are not cheap because they do not cut corners in the formulation and production processes.

I personally take many of the supplements in their product line.

You get the pure product, that’s it!

I suggest their Grass-Fed Collagen Hydrolysate Powder without reservation for improving skin elasticity and hydration due to the huge presence of science-backed literature supporting its use.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Perbelle CC Cream’s inclusion of hyaluronic acid and niacinamide suggests potential benefits for improving skin quality.

However, it is important to consider the potential concerns with ingredients like triethanolamine, hydrogenated lecithin, and EHMC.

Real users’ reviews are mixed and tend to lean toward not liking the product.

Based on the data in the scientific literature and the company’s uncited health claims, I do not recommend this product.

If you intend to purchase Perbelle CC Cream, I recommend purchasing directly from the official manufacturer’s website to ensure authenticity and quality.

Avoid buying from Amazon due to the proliferation of counterfeit products.
